阿叔上愛講鬼仔故事
伊用嘴講手嘛有動作
阿姐聽甲耳仔phak-phak
我是愛聽毋過心會驚

佇四界暗摸摸的時陣
我毋敢家己一个人睏
恐驚半暝鬼仔來揣我
阿姐笑我驚死無路用

見若我佮伊冤家了後
伊就講無愛陪我睏矣
害我毋敢無聽伊的話
我是驚伊抑是驚鬼呢?

Uncle likes to tell us a ghost story
Both his mouth and his hands are busy
My sister is very interested in hearing it
I am afraid of the ghost but I want to listen too

When it is dark outside and inside
I don’t dare to sleep alone
I am scared that the ghost might come at midnight
My sister laughs at me because I am a chicken

If I quarrel with her
She will say she doesn’t want to sleep with me
