雷公綴sih-nah雄雄熠落來
伊是毋是雷媽惹伊受氣
抑著是雷兄弟做歹代誌
伊需要喝赫大的雷公聲

雷公性地驚死人稍喝一下爾
天頂婆就一直若咧流目屎
流甲土地滿四界攏澹漉漉
我想伊性地有需要改一寡

好佳哉天頂婆已經無咧哮矣
但是伊猶原閣咧彈雷公聲
害阮小妹驚甲規暝哮袂煞
阿母講伊足過份閣無站節

Grandpa Thunder
Grandpa Thunder brings lightning that comes suddenly
Does Grandma Thunder make him mad?
Or Brothers Thunder make trouble?
He must has lost his temper to yell so loudly

Grandpa Thunder’s temper is so terrible
Making Grand Aunt sky cry all day long
Her tears fall down and soak through the ground
I think his temper should be softer

Luckily, now Grand Aunt sky stops crying
But his bad temper doesn’t stop
It scares my sister who cries all night long
My mother says he wants too much from us
